Admission requirements:

  • 60% in Mathematics 
  • 60% in Physical Sciences
  • 60% in Life Sciences
  • 60% in English
  • 50% in 2 Additional Subjects
  • 50% in Life Orientation 

Applicant should have a minimum Admission Point Score at least  of 32

Duration: 5 years

Closing date: 25 June 2021

Possible Career:

  • Dentists work ranges from the prevention of tooth decay, preparing and filing of cavities to highly intricate tooth reconstruction and realignment procedure, as well as to perfect the appearance of the mouth, teeth, and the surrounding tissues 
  • Dentists can work in private practice, public dental oral health services, and academic dentistry
  • Dentists can proceed to become a specialist in oral surgery, orthodontic, periodontology and oral medicine, oral pathology, prosthodontics, and community dentistry
